This was from Married, but Single, the previous blog.
As I spread the word around and build my fanbase (ha, its really just family [HI MOM], and friends who can’t get rid of me), I realize that some of you may be less than technologically savvy. First, I am glad you were able to find my wonderful website! Second, this blog is the result of homework for a New Media class. Therefore, you are about to be exposed to some great geewhiz-whoosy-whatsit-new-mumbo-jumbo type stuff that you may not be accustomed to. Its okay! Breathe in, breathe out, and click, click, click. There will be some wonderful things to look at over the coming months as I continue to astound you with my newly acquired blogging skills. Currently there are some pictures down the right hand side of my website. Those may change throughout the year, but they will always be photographs that I have taken myself. Additionally, under the pictures there will be links to other websites I found interesting. If you look right now you can find my myspace blog about camping and my inability to keep animals alive, among other uninteresting entries.
So really, that is it. I wanted to be sure you (a) knew what you were looking at, and (b) know that your comments (read: praise) are welcome! I will try to keep it interesting, funny (maybe), and possibly easy to read.
Sincerely,
A Brand-spanking-new Blogaholic

Wow, Kristen! You continue to amaze me! Well written, the whole site. =0)
Can’t wait for more =)
I know that we haven’t kept in touch over the years, but for me it is nice to be able to track what is going on in a typical military family. I truly enjoy reading your posts to keep an eye out for what is happening. Especially now; my brother has decided to join the Reserves. I hope you don’t mind if in the future I send his significant other to you for some support. Having been a military wife I feel that my view of all-things-military is rather different from most of the people around me. It is nice to know that my views about some things are not way out there
